2024 - BIG STAGE AT AWESOMEFEST
Scenic Root Art took over the big stage Thursday, Friday & Saturday at Awesome!Fest 2024 with an Awesome Artist showcase! This year, the spotlight was on an incredible lineup of singers, musicians, and poets who left attendees wanting more including Taina (featured photo). Awesome!Fest was a vibrant celebration of sports, food, music, dance, family fun and poetic brilliance. Dont miss Awesome!Fest 2025 at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown, PA next year!
2024 - NEW STEM AND SENSORY FOCUSED ART PROGRAM LAUNCHING
We’re thrilled to announce that our revamped summer elementary program is happening throughout the Allentown School District! This year, we've included even more engaging STEM and sensory activities, ensuring a fun and enriching experience for all our young learners. Get ready for a summer rooted in discovery and hands-on learning!
2024 - MIXING THINGS UP AT BLENDED
Our first event at Blended was a hit! The One Picture 1000 Words saw a fantastic turnout, with attendees loving the new venue and creative atmosphere. The night was filled with art, music, laughter, and great company. Stay tuned for more fun and creativity ahead! Upward and onward!
2024 - SPRINGING UP DOWNTOWN
What better way to start spring than with fresh beginnings? We just hosted our final "One Picture, 1000 Words" paint and sip at the Downtown Allentown Market, and we're thrilled to announce that our next event will be held right next door at Blended in June! Stay tuned for exciting new events and new partnerships coming soon.
2023 - FALLING IN LOVE WITH ART IN ALL FORMS
Scenic Root Art facilitated an multifaceted art class at Francis D. Raub Middle School during the summer school session! The students enthusiastically embraced various artistic endeavors, including paper mache, clay molding, painting, and bracelet making, while also engaging in stimulating STEM activities. Notably, we guided them through the design and construction of functional vehicles, seamlessly merging artistic expression with technical innovation.

2023 - ART IS AWESOME!
The Scenic Root Art Awesome! Fest tent was just that... AWESOME! Lehigh Valley's Awesome! Fest brought the sports, the food, the culture and so much more. We brought the Art with a variety of activities including bracelet making, painting, clay, and slime to keep kids engaged and excited as they crafted. You know we couldn't leave the grow-ups out! A designated painting section allowed adults to join in on the artistic fun and create their own Awesome works of art!
2023 - AN IMMERSIVE ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE
We had the most incredible time at our quarterly One Picture 1000 Words event! The convergence of live performances, bespoke libations, and a diverse array of culinary offerings, all set against the backdrop of a creative painting endeavor, forged an immersive and thoroughly enjoyable occasion for all attendees. Patrons reveled in the unique interplay between artistic expression and live performances, engaging in lively exchanges and sharing their artistic progress with fellow attendees between captivating acts. This event stands as an exceptional opportunity, equally welcoming to novice and seasoned artists alike, to unleash their creative faculties.
2023 - ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT SOLD OUT!
Our "One Picture, 1000 Words" event recently marked its inaugural one-year anniversary with an extraordinary sold-out celebration, featuring the most extensive showcase of artists to date. As we reflect on this significant milestone, we are emboldened by the knowledge that our journey is destined for even greater heights.

2023 - CREATING LIKE GNOME-BODYS BUSINESS
We applaud the Allentown School District for their outstanding efforts in providing enriching activities for children during administrative days. By offering a diverse range of activities including rotating sports, invigorating yoga sessions, and, of course, awesome art stations, they have created a space where these spirited youngsters can channel their boundless energy into positive and constructive pursuits. 2022 - MAKING A SPLASH AT THE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
Scenic Root Art made a splash (of color) this Summer spearheading an enriching art program as part of the Allentown School District's Summer Scholars Enrichment. Throughout the program, we witnessed a vibrant tapestry of creativity as students embraced their artistic sides.
